This year the Awards were presented in the Lord Mayor’s Mansion House for forty trainees by Criona Ni Dhalaigh.
In calling for more projects like Liberty Recycling, the Lord Mayor praised Libertys’ approach as a new way of rehabilitating people with drug problems. The training which jointly tackles the addictive behaviours whilst also upskilling people for entry to the labour market.
Almost forty trainees received Certificates up to level four and a few to level five which is Leaving Cert standard.
Criona Ni Dhalaigh joined the staff and trainees in a buffet lunch after the ceremonies.
